Use a solution of alcohol after blowing on the mouth piece, clean with equal amounts of hydrogen peroxide and water, dry thoroughly and then use a micro crystalline wax (follow the instructions) this should help protect, preserve and beautify your shofar. Shofar is made of bone and there will be an odor associated with the horn. We recommended that you do not use bleach on your shofar.
